We just returned from Ethiopia. I spent the last two and a half weeks there while the rest of my family spent the entire summer there.
I highly recommend that everyone from a so-called first world country visit a country like Ethiopia. It gives life perspective. What I always find amazing when visiting there is the happiness and friendliness of the people. A family of six live in a room smaller than my living room and yet they are always smiling and inviting - and they all get along!
We could all learn lessons from the people in Woreta. I hope I don't forget what I have learned.
